– profit maximization as the purpose of existence.
The consequences of this development: the collapse of the society as you know it.
Without a minimum ethical consensus, society will disintegrate.”

The digital painting titled “The Puppet” created by Rosa Bergerac, depicts a man, dressed in a robe draped over his left shoulder. Like the male persons in a roman sculpture. He is gesticulating with his hands. In his right hand he holds a chalice with his left hand he is pointing to it as if he is talking about it or maybe explaining something. All the while wires attached to all his body parts, including his hands and head go upwards exactly like the wires of a marionette. Wires by which this “fugure” is moved. The background has a soft orange-stone-red color and the figure itself is in off-white, beige, blue and light-green colors.

Rosa Bergerac inventively projects a situation from way deep inside her being, which she knows will develop on Earth, hoping to touch a chord with her viewers. Inviting others, the viewers, to tap into this feeling and respond.
